YOUR PRIVATE MAP TO CRANBROOK, FROM CAROLYN DULIN !! Done in 1986 and measuring 25" x 25" (a mural in four blocks, currently resting on a tabletop), this wall sculpture is titled "The Glaciers of Bloomfield Hills". This Cranbrook (MI) artist, Carolyn Dulin, was inspired by a topographical depiction of glacial activity in our area, and this clay construction even includes an incised street layout to orient yourself within Bloomfield Hills (Cranbrook is in the center of the four squares). |

GLASS "WATER BABY" BY WILLIAM DEXTER !! This wonderfully large piece of glass art, named "Water Baby", comes from the creativity of William Dexter, possibly 25 years ago. Mr. Dexter indicates that its inspiration came from living in Florida, and reflects the imagery of a clear glass shell surrounded with a blue edge, containing a pearl. The piece measures ~18" x 12" x 13". |
