Designed by Charles/Ray Eames in 1950, this chair resides in the homes of most of the design community. VINTAGE SAARINEN # 72 SIDE CHAIRS These chairs are classic, and vintage Eero Saarinen. They were originally designed for the GM Tech Center, but make a terrific statement in any '50s setting. The backs are either putty (6) or black-colored (4) fiber glass/polyester, with upholstered seats in putty or yellow maugahyde. They were produced by Knoll Associates, and are in quite good condition. Available in pairs at $300 each. |
