THE WONDERFUL EAMES ROCKER...AND WE NOW HAVE ONLY ONE !! These chairs seem to capture the collective imagination of the '50s generation. We now have one remaining, in "bright orange". Designed by Charles/Ray Eames in 1950, this chair resides in the homes of most of the design community. Equally importantly, this chair is highly sought-after by mothers-to-be who see this as a wonderfully relaxing feeding place for both mother and child. This is an early version, and is all original. |

VINTAGE SAARINEN # 72 SIDE CHAIRS These chairs are classic, and vintage Eero Saarinen. They were originally designed for the GM Tech Center, but make a terrific statement in any '50s setting. The backs are either putty (6) or black-colored (4) fiber glass/polyester, with upholstered seats in putty or yellow maugahyde. They were produced by Knoll Associates, and are in quite good condition. |
